about the project

Bruises is a psychological exploration of trauma, physical abuse and the fragile human condition, the film follows a young man called ben and his therapist, dr. miles, as they attempt to reckon with the horror of his life and the uncertainty of his future.

This film is at once gritty realism and the psychologically abstract, combining notice productions ubiquitous talent for character creation with experimental imagery and sound.

The project premiered on the 30th of january at the old court, windsor, and was entirely youth-led, with the explicit aim of exploring trauma as a topic in itself and testing the limits of psychological drama.
